What to do after storm damage
- Stay safe. Stay away from downed wires and don't go on the roof.
- Stop the water. We provide emergency tarping to prevent more damage.
- Document it. We photograph and measure the damage for your adjuster.
- File your claim with your insurance company. You choose your contractor.
- Meet the adjuster. We can be on site to point out damage.
- Repair or replace. We do the work to the approved scope.
What we don't do
We don't promise a free roof, waive deductibles, or pressure you to sign on the spot. In New Jersey, a contractor also can't act as your public adjuster. If you want someone to negotiate the claim for you, hire a licensed public adjuster. We work with them regularly.
Typical cost
Emergency tarping typically runs $500 to $1,500. Repairs are priced to your insurance-approved scope plus any upgrades you choose.

Questions about storm damage & insurance claims
Will my insurance pay for a new roof?
It depends on your policy and the cause of damage. Sudden storm damage is often covered, but normal wear and age are not. We document the damage honestly so your adjuster has what they need.
Do you work with public adjusters?
Yes. If your claim is complex, a licensed public adjuster can represent you, and we coordinate with them on scope.
